Based on a Full Groom, consisting of
a bath, using only the highest quality
ranges of professional shampoos and
conditioning rinses; blow-dry by hand;
ears cleaned; nails trimmed and hair
clipped and trimmed into a style of
your choosing and finally, a light spray
of pet cologne and a little bow for
the collar.
Prices based on the dog's coat being in
a reasonable condition, as tangles,knots
and mats take up extra time to remove..
you will be charged more for this.

are having a full groom or
simply a bath and dry.*

I believe in investing in the best equipment
available to grooming professionals.....as a
result, every dog that comes to DogsBuddy
doesn't just have a bath, they have a
deep-cleansing, hydro-massage which not
only cleans the coat right down to the skin,
but also has a relaxing effect on the dogs,
which they enjoy.
Prices can be given over the phone as a
rough estimate only, as various factors
will determine the final cost, such as
how frequently the dog is professionally
groomed, how overgrown the coat has
been allowed to become, the extent of
any matting of the coat and also the
temperament of the dog, as the dog's
behaviour affects the length of time
that the grooming session will take.
DE-SHEDDING

You would be surprised just how much dead hair
there can be throughout your dog's coat..however,
it can be painlessly removed in a de-shedding session,
leaving your dog feeling and looking so much better...
the dog will not feel the need to scratch so much and
the coat will lie smoother, giving a nicer appearance.
Another bonus will be significantly less hairs around
the house...on clothes, carpets and furniture.
De-shedding is beneficial to any breed, even if
short-coated, although unnecessary for the non-
shedding breeds such as Poodles & Bichon Frise
DE-MATTING
I will not put a dog through the painful process
of de-matting, as hurting them in any way is not
an option. Aside from the occasional small mat
which can be painlessly clipped out, anything
more widespread will have to be clipped off in a
shorter style,saving the dog from discomfort.
This will incur an additional charge,
due to the extra strain put on the
clipper blades and the extra time
and care needed to ensure the dog's
comfort and safety throughout.
I hold an up to date certificate in
CANINE FIRST AID.
VET'S PRESCRIPTIONS...........
If your dog needs frequent baths,perhaps
using shampoo prescribed by your vet,
I will do this for you if you prefer.
(an affordable price will be set)
The same applies if your vet has
prescribed a course of daily treatment for
ear wax or ear infection and you cannot manage
to do it yourself...don't struggle with it, allow
me to do it for you, free of charge,
with an appointment, at the salon.
AGGRESSIVE DOGS.........
Please advise me when booking your dog in,
if he is prone to being "nasty", so that we
can agree on the best way of handling him
while he is being groomed.
This could mean the owner staying throughout
the groom to help with keeping the dog calm.
It may also be sensible to fit the dog with a
muzzle, which I would provide, although for
some breeds this is not advisable.
